Interpreting Services Committee

The Deaf Awareness Day committee is committed to ensuring effective communication for all in attendance. Interpreters are either local professionals working in the San Diego area or students who are currently enrolled or have recently graduated from Interpreter Training Programs at Mesa or Palomar College. All of the interpreters arranged for the event volunteer their time and energy.

Since a concerted effort is being made to include Spanish-speaking and LSM-signing members from South Bay and Tijuana, interpreters will be available to aid in these modes of communication as well.

If you are in need of interpreting services at Deaf Awareness Day, please visit the Interpreting Services booth located near the entrance to the main exhibit hall.
